Eildon Food Hub Promotional Video
// Overview
The Brief
The Scottish Procurement Alliance commissioned Video Production Edinburgh to produce a short video to promote their activity in sponsoring social initiatives. Using interviews and b-rolls we have been required to capture the ethos and contribution of the client on this specific project.
The Approach
We streamlined the production process to make sure we kept within budget without compromising on quality and reliability. We decided with the client to give to the video a medium/slow pace to allow the key messages to be comfortably absorbed by the viewer. The production included:
- Creative Strategy and Pre-production: We liaised with the client and the team at Eildon Food Hub to produce an effective narrative and meet the criteria outlined by the brief
- Filming: We used one camera on tripod for the interviews and one on gimbal for the b-rolls. We kept the equipment to the minimum to be able to move promptly between fast-changing scenes
- Post-Production: We delivered one approx. 5 minutes-long documentary-style promotional video
The Outcome
The video we delivered has been used on the client’s website and social media, as well as shown at meetings and presentations.
